Marketing Assistant (Contract, Part-Time, Remote – Philippines)

About the Role

Our U.S.–based creative agency partners with churches and faith-focused organizations across North America. We're hiring resourceful Marketing Assistants who can craft and schedule compelling digital content, coordinate campaigns, and keep projects on track—all from a home office in the Philippines.

Collaboration Window

Although you set your own schedule as an independent contractor, you must be reachable for live collaboration, calls, and real-time feedback between 8:00 PM and 1:00 AM Manila Time (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Eastern), Monday–Friday.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager.
  • Build social media calendars, write post captions, and schedule content across Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for multiple church clients.
  • Coordinate with in-house designers and video editors to produce visuals that match each church's voice.
  • Track social performance metrics, compile weekly reports, and suggest data-driven improvements.
  • Research audience demographics, competitor activity, and emerging trends in church communications.
  • Support virtual events by preparing assets, handling registrations, and posting highlights.
  • Maintain marketing databases, file libraries, and project timelines; keep stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Draft or proofread blog posts, email newsletters, and website updates; perform light SEO tweaks when needed.
  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to brainstorm ideas, refine copy, and streamline workflows.
  • Pitch in on other marketing tasks that help the team deliver quality work on time.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of social-media or digital-marketing experience (agency or in-house).
  • Demonstrated success creating social content for churches or other faith-based audiences.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; able to tailor tone for different ministries.
  • Comfortable briefing designers/video editors.
  • Experience with scheduling platforms (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite) and basic analytics dashboards.
  • Reliable high-speed internet, backup power, and a quiet workspace suitable for calls.

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of email platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Basic SEO / CMS experience (WordPress, Squarespace).
  • Previous use of AI copy or image-generation tools.
  • Exposure to Google Analytics or similar reporting suites.

Compensation & Contract Terms

  • Rate: 15,000 PHP per month, paid twice monthly via payment service.
  • Engagement: Independent contractor—you handle your own taxes and benefits.
  • Performance: Increases or bonuses may be offered for consistently strong results.
