The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department in implementing HR policies, programs, and procedures. The role ensures compliance with labor laws, company standards, and HR best practices while assisting in recruitment, employee relations, training, records management, and other HR functions to help maintain a productive, engaged, and legally compliant workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in posting job ads, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial assessments.
- Facilitate pre-employment requirements and onboarding of new hires.
- Ensure accurate preparation of contracts, job descriptions, and employee files.
Employee Records & Documentation:
- Maintain and update employee records, 201 files, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure timely updates of personal, employment, and payroll-related information.
Employee Relations:
- Assist in handling employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary cases in line with due process and company code of conduct.
- Prepare Notices to Explain (NTE), memos, and other HR correspondences.
Performance Management & Development:
- Support the implementation of performance evaluation processes.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning sessions, orientations, or seminars.
Compensation & Benefits Support:
- Ensure timely submission and processing of payroll-related documents.
- Assist employees in government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and company benefits.
Compliance & HR Policies:
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and hotel/company policies.
- Assist in disseminating HR policy updates and monitoring adherence.
Engagement & Culture:
- Support employee engagement activities and wellness programs.
- Help foster a positive work culture aligned with the company's values and vision.
Other related task as may be assigned by the management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
