PURPOSE: The Host / Dining Staff role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This versatile position focuses on exceptional service, facilitating guest flow, and supporting dining operations to enhance the overall dining experience. Responsibilities include hosting, managing reservations, assisting with table service, and ensuring cleanliness and organization within the dining area.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Service & Dining Operations· Greet and seat guests with warmth and hospitality, ensuring efficient table management. · Assist in taking food and beverage orders, delivering them promptly and professionally. · Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area at all times. · Attend to guest inquiries and special requests with a proactive and friendly attitude.

Reservation & Waitlist Management

· Manage reservations and waitlists to optimize guest seating and flow effectively.

· Handle guest inquiries over the phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy.

· Maintain an inviting front desk/reception area that reflects the establishment's standards.

Operational Support

· Participate in opening and closing procedures, ensuring that operational standards are met.

· Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols at all times.

· Engage in training sessions and team meetings to remain knowledgeable about menu items and promotions.

· Carry out any other tasks as assigned by management.

  • Performs any other tasks given by the management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or any food & service industry

related courses

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a full-service restaurant, café, or retail F&B

environment preferred.

SKILLS: Detail oriented

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Patient, honest and trustworthy

Strong guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Sales-oriented mindset with knowledge of average check targets and sales strategies.

Friendly and personable

SUPERVISION: Standard; attention to detail required.
