Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction: Welcome guests, present menus, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations for food and drinks.
Order Taking & Delivery: Accurately take customer orders, communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff, and serve food and beverages promptly.
Table Maintenance: Set up tables with linens, silverware, and glassware, then clear and reset them after customers finish their meals.
Customer Satisfaction: Check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction, address any concerns, and ensure a positive overall dining experience.
Payment Handling: Process cash and credit card payments, provide accurate change, and handle billing.
Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintain a clean dining area, and assist with cleaning kitchen utensils and the area after closing.
Event Support: Help with preparing for events or larger groups, which may involve setting up or rearranging the dining area.
