An HR manager is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, with a specific focus on the unique challenges of a logistics-driven environment. This includes managing talent for warehouse and operations roles, ensuring compliance, and fostering a productive and safe workplace.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience working in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience with recruiting and retaining a large workforce, including both office and operational/warehouse staff.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations specific to the Philippines, including those related to wages, working hours, and occupational safety (e.g., DOLE and ECC regulations).
  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) for payroll, benefits administration, and employee data management.
  • Understanding of performance management systems and employee development programs.
  • Leadership & Management Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities to mentor and guide HR staff.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels, from warehouse staff to senior management.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and mediation to handle employee relations issues.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with business goals.
  • Willing to handle multiple business units.

Job Type: Full-time
