The Human Resources (HR) Manager will manage the employment process, including recruiting, training, and compensating employees. He/she must also ensure that the company complies with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Department Setup:

  • Establish HR systems, processes, and policies for the entire employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, offboarding).
  • Select and implement HR tools and systems (HRIS, payroll software, etc.).
  • Develop an HR framework that aligns with company culture, values, and long-term goals.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Design recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the finance and fintech sectors.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for key roles across departments.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Design competitive salary structures and benefits packages tailored to the Philippine market.
  • Set up payroll processes ensuring accurate and compliant salary payments.

Compliance & Labor Relations:

  • Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws, including mandatory benefits and reporting.
  • Manage government compliance requirements such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and DOLE reporting.

Culture & Employee Engagement:

  • Foster a positive company culture through employee engagement programs.
  • Develop internal communications to keep employees informed and motivated.

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and implement learning and development programs to support employee growth.

HR Advisory:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters.
  • Develop a long-term HR strategy aligned with business goals.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

At least 5-7 years of HR experience, with strong preference for experience in setting up HR functions for startups or fast-growing companies.

Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws and HR compliance requirements.

Experience in finance, fintech, banking, or related industries is a plus.

Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll setup, and policy creation.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
