Position 1 - Business Development Executive (Global Online & Blended Learning Partnerships)

Position Summary

The Business Development Executive for Global Online & Blended Learning Partnerships is a critical strategic role responsible for driving worldwide expansion. This position is instrumental in identifying, engaging, and securing new partnerships with educational institutions and organizations across the globe, with a particular emphasis on high-growth markets in China and Africa. The BDE will play a key role in broadening the organization's reach through program delivery collaborations and pioneering innovative dual award university programs, contributing directly to the company's strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role are comprehensive, spanning market analysis, relationship building, and strategic execution:

  • Lead Generation & Market Research:

  • Conduct extensive market research to identify and evaluate potential sales leads and new business opportunities within the global online and blended learning landscape.

  • Utilize diverse sources, online research, and professional networking to identify target client segments and thoroughly understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Develop and execute highly targeted mass mailing campaigns and other strategic outreach initiatives to engage potential partners interested in online and blended learning collaborations.
  • The effectiveness of outreach, including mass mailing, is significantly enhanced by robust research and business intelligence. Thorough market understanding, including customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes, directly leads to the identification of higher-quality leads. This, in turn, enables the BDE to craft more relevant and personalized outreach messages, making campaigns substantially more effective and improving conversion rates. Without deep research, outreach efforts risk being generic, resulting in low engagement and wasted resources.     how to reach out, but who to reach out to and why.
    - Partnership Development & Relationship Management:

  • Initiate, build, and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and prospective partners, including universities, educational institutions, and corporate entities.

  • Communicate effectively to foster these relationships, understand partner objectives, and present compelling value propositions for online and blended learning programs.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favorable partnerships and contracts, aiming for mutual benefit while maximizing organizational objectives.
  • Program Delivery & Dual Award Collaboration:

  • Actively research and identify opportunities for program delivery partnerships, leveraging existing online and blended learning content and infrastructure.

  • Specifically identify, pursue, and establish university collaborations for dual award programs, requiring a deep understanding of the complexities of credit recognition, curriculum alignment, and joint academic offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal academic, legal, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration and successful launch of new partnerships.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to develop effective sales and business development strategies tailored for global markets, with specific consideration for China and Africa.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to meet sales targets for revenue and profitability.
  • Present monthly and quarterly sales reports to senior board members and investors, meticulously tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Compensation:

    Base salary - PHP 25,000 - PHP 35,000

    Generous commission structure based on individual performance.

Position 2 - Inbound & Outbound Sales Representative

Being able to speak and communicate in French is required for one of the positions

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Receive inbound calls from prospects via marketing campaigns and organic website traffic.

Make outbound sales calls to both warm and cold leads to inform and educate clients to purchase our home warranty product.

Demonstrate confidence in the ask and making the close.

Create and efficiently manage a callback schedule to reach and speak with assigned leads.

Use tools provided for reporting and garner customer insights.

Manage customer interactions by building trust and rapport, leveraging active listening and use conversation tools to overcome objections and drive sales.

Maintain thorough knowledge of the company and competitor's products and services.

Update the CRM and send emails via the CRM to prospects.

Must be able to work variable schedule(s) if needed.

Ability to work in a fluid and dynamic environment.

Perform any other work-related duties as assigned by management.

Reach and maintain sales per month according to the annual compensation plan.

Complete goals set in evaluation and goal-setting sessions.

Accuracy and timeliness of essential job duties.

Ability to follow company standards and accept feedback and instructions from management.

Courteous and professional manner with internal teams and external customers.

Complete any special assignments on time and as instructed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Inbound and outbound sales experience.

  2. Excellent communication skills, proper grammar, courteous and professional.

  3. Strong listening, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

  4. Self-motivated, competitive spirit, enthusiastic, overcomes objections, and confident to ask for the sale

  5. Excellent work ethic and integrity.

  6. A proven track record of success in reaching or exceeding goals.

  7. Ability to maintain a professional demeanour through high-intensity communications and call volume.

  8. Ability to learn company policies, procedures, products, coverage, and services.

  9. General knowledge of office practices and procedures along with the ability to operate various office equipment such as a computer, copier/scanner, facsimile machine, and telephone systems.

  10. Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, email programs, voicemail systems, and mobile technology.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School education or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of inbound and outbound sales experience, including cold calling

For one position, being able to communicate in French is required
