*Role Overview*

We are seeking a Business Development Executive based in the Philippines to drive growth of HitPay's payment terminal business. This role will focus on building merchant adoption of in-person payment solutions, expanding partnerships, and ensuring HitPay's payment terminals become the go-to choice for SMBs in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, customer-focused, and skilled at building relationships with merchants, distributors, and partners. You will work closely with sales, product, and operations teams to grow terminal adoption and revenue in this key market.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Merchant Acquisition & Growth

  • Drive adoption of HitPay payment terminals among SMBs across retail, F&B, and services.

  • Prospect, pitch, and close new merchant accounts, focusing on high-potential segments.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to achieve growth targets.
  • Partner Development

  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, resellers, and ecosystem partners to expand reach.

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships that increase distribution of payment terminals.
  • Market Development

  • Understand merchant pain points in the Philippines and position HitPay's payment terminals as a differentiated solution.

  • Work closely with the Product team to provide feedback from the market to improve the offering.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights on pricing, promotions, and positioning.
  • Sales Execution & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for payment terminals.

  • Track leads, opportunities, and deals in CRM, providing accurate forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Support teams to ensure smooth merchant onboarding and after-sales support.

*Requirements*

  • Based in the Philippines with strong knowledge of local SMB and payments landscape.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in fintech, payments, POS, or related industries).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving product adoption.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both merchants and channel partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (English required; Tagalog a plus).
  • Self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, reporting, and pipeline management.
