
HR Associate

As an HR Associate with at least 2 years of experience, you will handle core HR operations, support the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance, and help maximize the efficiency of our HR systems—particularly the Sprout HR platform. You will act as a point of contact for employees, support payroll and benefits processes, maintain accurate HR data, and partner with leadership to execute HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including preparation of documentation, system access, orientation, and exit procedures.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Sprout HR) ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Assist with payroll processing, statutory deductions (Philippines context: SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.), timekeeping and attendance issues using Sprout tools.
- Administer benefits and compensation programs; respond to employee queries regarding benefits, pay, policies.
- Serve as HR generalist: help manage performance evaluation cycles, training and development programs, learning needs, employee engagement activities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR policies.
- Help with HR reporting and analytics: generate reports (headcount, attrition, leave usage, etc.), identify trends, support decision-making.
- Provide support in employee relations: address employee questions, concerns, assist in conflict resolution under guidance.
- Assist in implementing or configuring Sprout HR modules, e.g., Recruitment, Timekeeping, etc., when needed.
- Participate in HR process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and improve system workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role. Experience using Sprout HR or similar HRIS highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of local HR laws and statutory requirements (if in Philippines: DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).
- Strong competence in payroll administration, benefits, performance management.
- Proficiency with HR systems / HRIS tools (Sprout is a plus), as well as Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) or similar tools.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Ability to multitask, adapt in a dynamic environment, and meet deadlines.
