Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management

  1. Operational Oversight: Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of IT hardware and equipment, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  2. Inventory Control: Manage inventory processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution to maintain accurate stock levels.
  3. Process Optimization: Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce errors, and improve productivity.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, maintaining a safe workplace through regular audits, training, and compliance with industry standards.
  5. Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet lifters, shelving systems) and facilities to ensure operational continuity.

Logistics and Transportation

  1. Logistics Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including carrier selection, freight negotiations, and route optimization to minimize costs and ensure timely deliveries.
  2. Partner Management: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers to ensure smooth supply chain operations for IT hardware distribution.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Track logistics metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, transportation costs) and implement strategies to improve service levels and cost efficiency.

Team Leadership

  1. Team Supervision and Development: Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff and logistics coordinators, setting performance goals and providing regular feedback to foster growth.
  2. Staffing and Scheduling: Plan workforce schedules to meet operational demands while optimizing labor costs and ensuring adequate coverage.
  3. Employee Engagement: Promote a collaborative and positive work culture, addressing employee concerns and encouraging teamwork.

Operational Strategy

  1. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze operational data (e.g., inventory turnover, order accuracy, logistics costs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, sales, and technical teams to align operations with business goals and customer expectations.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements through best practices to enhance operational efficiency and support the distribution of IT hardware products.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in IT hardware or electronics distribution.
  • Proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations and improving logistics performance.
  • Proficiency in SAP for inventory management, logistics, and operational reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in IT hardware or electronics distribution, with knowledge of products such as network equipment, monitors, laptops, CCTV, or data storage.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, APICS CPIM, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to implement technology solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency.
