Engineering Procurement Officer

Oversees projects and procurement of technical materials for engineering functions. Negotiates purchase agreements and awards contracts to suppliers. Also tracks any changes in equipment needs and ensures the optimal supply of equipment to complete projects within the approved budget and timeline.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and applies cost reduction strategies to enhance cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Negotiates contracts with suppliers to secure the best price and terms while exploring opportunities for business savings.
  • Processes purchase and work orders in the company system to facilitate procurement.
  • Monitors delivery of items or services at the designated location to confirm the completion of the purchase.
  • Communicates with suppliers regarding specifications, costs, inspections, and related issues for parts, equipment, and materials.
  • Conducts technical evaluations of contractor quotes to assess cost-efficiency and contractor qualifications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or any related course.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field required for this position.
  • Must have good organizational, and customer management skills
  • Good verbal and written English and Filipino communication skills
  • Good analytical/critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be well-organized, practices effective time management and ability to handle complex, varied workload.
  • Must be able to work independently and able to adapt to constant work transitions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
