About the role

As a Purchaser Officer/Procurement at AMHI', you will play a crucial role in the Transport & Logistics division, focusing on Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory management. Based in Santa Ana Manila City, Metro Manila, this full-time position will see you working to support the company's strategic objectives through effective procurement and inventory control.

What you'll be doing

  1. Sourcing and procuring materials, equipment and services required for production and operations
  2. Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure favourable terms and timely delivery
  3. Maintaining accurate inventory records and optimising stock levels to meet production demands
  4. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing process improvements within the procurement function
  5. Collaborating cross-functionally to align purchasing activities with the broader business needs
  6. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

  1. Demonstrable experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry
  2. Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills to effectively liaise with suppliers
  3. Proficiency in inventory management, including stock control, forecasting and order processing
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  5. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing business needs
  7. Has drivers-licensed and knows how to drive four wheels
