Key Result Area

Duties and Responsibilities

Procurement of Commodity

  • Prepare procurement requests and ensure proper authorization prior to acquisition.

  • Coordinate closely with suppliers or partner agencies on the availability, quantity, and delivery schedules of required goods.

  • Monitor the delivery and receipt of items and coordinate with warehousing or logistics personnel to ensure complete and timely turnover.

Supplier Engagement

  • Initiate and manage procurement transactions with prequalified or accredited suppliers.

  • Draft and process procurement-related documents (e.g., purchase requests, order forms, quotations).

  • Track supplier conformance to agreed terms (price, quality, delivery) and report non-compliance to management.

Procurement of Operational Supplies

  • Identify and process procurement needs for materials, tools, and other items necessary for day-to-day project operations.

  • Coordinate with the appropriate planning and oversight units to ensure inclusion of procurement needs in the agency's Annual Procurement Plan (APP).

Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all procurement transactions and related supporting documents.

  • Ensure that procurement processes are compliant with internal policies, government regulations, and auditing standards.

Qualification:

Must have a Degree in Business, Accountancy, Financial Management, or any other related Degree.
