Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Officer to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing room reservations efficiently and accurately, primarily through Agoda, , and other online travel agencies (OTAs). The role requires a strong understanding of OTA platforms, hotel systems, and guest communication to ensure high booking conversion rates and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and manage room reservations via Agoda, , and other OTA platforms.
  • Ensure all reservations are accurately entered into the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
  • Maintain real-time availability, pricing, and room allocations across all OTA platforms.
  • Coordinate with the front desk and housekeeping to manage room assignments and availability.
  • Monitor incoming bookings, cancellations, and modifications, and act accordingly.
  • Communicate with guests regarding reservation details, special requests, and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies regarding bookings, cancellations, and no-shows.
  • Assist with guest complaints or issues related to reservations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports and analytics.
  • Work closely with the sales and revenue management teams to support rate and occupancy strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing Agoda and reservations (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in using OTA extranets and hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds, eZee, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in [Insert Language(s) Required].
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work on-site, under pressure, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
  • Experience in guest services or hotel front office operations is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of hotel channel managers or booking engines (e.g., SiteMinder, STAAH) is a plus.
