About the role
We are seeking a Front Office Associate to join the team at Santorini Hotel. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience throughout their stay.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently
- Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Managing guest reservations, room allocations and maintaining accurate records
- Handling cash and electronic payments securely and accurately
- Providing concierge services, such as arranging transportation, making dining reservations, and suggesting local attractions
- Assisting with baggage handling and luggage storage as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
- Adhering to all hotel policies, procedures and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests of diverse backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with additional language skills being an advantage
- Knowledge of front office operations, including reservations, check-in/check-out, and handling cash and electronic payments
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and during peak hours
- A warm, friendly and professional demeanor, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
