Job Summary:
The HR Supervisor – Compensation and Benefits is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of employee compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, labor laws, and market trends, and supports the organization's strategic goals by designing competitive and fair compensation structures and benefits offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation:
- Develop, review, and manage salary structures, pay scales, and incentive plans.
- Participate in market salary surveys and conduct internal equity analysis.
- Recommend and implement compensation adjustments based on performance appraisals, promotions, and benchmarking.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of annual merit increases and bonus programs.
- Maintain job classification systems and ensure accurate job descriptions and grading.
Benefits:
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, leaves, and other perks.
- Coordinate with third-party providers for benefit plan management and negotiation.
- Monitor benefit utilization, costs, and employee satisfaction.
- Lead open enrollment processes and benefits communication campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with statutory benefits and government-mandated programs (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG in the Philippines or relevant local programs).
Supervision & Compliance:
- Supervise and train Compensation & Benefits staff and ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll and benefits administration.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal auditors and government agencies during audits or compliance checks.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on compensation, benefits costs, headcount, and trends for management review.
- Analyze data to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or any related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR, with at least 2 years specializing in compensation and benefits and 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Knowledge of local labor laws and tax regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong personality is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
