Position Overview

The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction consistent with 5-star hospitality. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to inspire a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining efficiency, profitability, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Direct and supervise all restaurant operations, including dining service, reservations, and guest relations.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain luxury service standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize profitability.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Uphold 5-star service standards, ensuring personalized and memorable guest experiences.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through attention to detail.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold the restaurant's standards of excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and service excellence.

Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, sales forecasts, and budgets.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, labor cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive marketing and promotional initiatives in collaboration with Sales & Marketing.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws, licensing, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience in a fine dining or 5-star restaurant/hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, reservations software, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of wine service, fine dining etiquette, and luxury F&B operations.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
