About the role:
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Prepares, analyze and recommend initial Salary Adjustment recommendation received by the Human Resources Department for review and/or endorsement.
- Handles the benefits administration of Company Sponsored benefits i.e. Employee Salary Loans, Bereavement Assistance & Leaves except for Housing Loan Subsidy, Company Car Policy and Motorcycle Plan and Loan Policy.
- Handles the benefits administration of Government Sponsored benefits i.e. SSS Salary Loans, SSS Sickness.
- Handles inquiries and concerns of employees regarding the Company's benefit programs and ensures that any questions, issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
PAYROLL PROCESSING
- Oversee (and prepares) the assigned HR associates preparing the Attendance Summary Report for any given payroll period. Ensures that this are completed within the prescribed time deadlines.
- Prepares the Payroll instructions which includes the following: Inclusion of New Hires, Exclusion of Separated and on-hold Employees, Approved salary adjustments
- Monitors and update the Company Loan Deduction and Balances
FINAL PAY COMPUTATION
- Prepares the required data for the final pay of separated employees based on the following: Final unpaid attendance of separated employees, Unused Sick Leave Conversion, Other identified and approved payables
- Prepares the appropriate Request for Payment (RFP) of approved final pay computations.
- Releases the final pay check to separated employees once the checks are made available.
EMPLOYEE RECORDS MANAGEMENT
- Maintain the Employee Masterfile for HMI, LGI and PPI Employees and update the said file as needed every payroll period.
- Prepares all memos and/or notifications for any changes of employees employment details i.e. Regularization Notification, Salary Adjustment Notifications and ensures that this are filed in the employees corresponding 201 Files.
- 201 & 202 Employee File Management
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources Administration or any related courses.
- Proven five (5) years' experience in the Human Resources Field.
- Experience in handling and managing HR staff member is preferred.
- Well verse in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and all levels of associates.
- Ability to effectively manage sensitive situations and confidential data.
- Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills.
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
