Job Summary

The Junior Buyer plays a key role in ensuring product availability and supporting the company's procurement and merchandising strategies. This position is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and merchandising products, while assisting in supplier management, commercial negotiations, and cost optimization. The role also contributes to improving inventory efficiency and maintaining product quality across categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure product quality, pricing competitiveness, and reliability.
  • Participate in negotiations and help manage vendor relationships to achieve the best commercial terms.
  • Support procurement planning, inventory control, and replenishment processes to maintain ideal stock levels.
  • Contribute to margin analysis and risk management activities related to purchasing and inventory.
  • Assist in developing and executing merchandising strategies to drive product visibility and movement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier compliance.
  • Stay updated on market trends and provide input for product innovation and assortment planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Industrial Engineering (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Preferably with a background or internship experience in purchasing, merchandising, or supplier relations.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with basic understanding of financial and inventory analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in decision-making.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
  • Team player with effective interpersonal skills — approachable, intuitive, and collaborative.
  • Eager to learn, open to change, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
