Job Summary

The Junior Buyer plays an important role in supporting the company's procurement and merchandising operations. This position ensures product availability, quality, and cost efficiency by assisting in sourcing, ordering, and inventory management. The role also contributes to supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, and the execution of buying strategies that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations and assist in managing supplier relationships to optimize terms and costs.
  • Support procurement planning, inventory control, and replenishment processes to maintain ideal stock levels.
  • Contribute to cost and margin analysis, helping identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.
  • Assist in developing merchandising strategies to improve product visibility and movement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting, timely delivery, and supplier compliance.
  • Stay informed about market trends and provide input on new product ideas or assortment planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates preferred).
  • Preferably with background or internship experience in purchasing, merchandising, or supplier management.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with basic knowledge of financial or inventory analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Trustworthy, adaptable, and proactive in a dynamic work environment.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills — approachable, intuitive, and collaborative.
  • Willing to work onsite in Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
