We are looking for Site Engineer in Poro Point Agro-Industrial Development Company Inc. located in Bridgetown, Pasig City

Job Summary

  • Oversees and manages daily construction site works, including tiling works and installation of other architectural accessories, making sure it follows the plans, schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
  • Oversees manpower loading and supervising sub-contractors, monitors and control construction budget, prepares daily accomplishment reports, and scheduling

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily assignment, supervision, and monitoring of the work of both admin workers/installers and subcontractors, making sure they are all aligned with the plans, schedule, and quality standards set by the company.
  • Monitors the progress of site works, its quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Promotes the safety of workers inside the job site, ensuring they follow minimum safety requirements for each job.
  • Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, survey reports, and other technical documentation to guide the construction process.
  • Prepare and send Daily Accomplishment Reports, Daily Manpower Loading, Schedules and Catch-up Schedules, Incident Reports, Budget and Material Requests, Inspection Reports, Progress Billings to clients, Sub-contractor Billings, Request for Information, Turnover and Acceptance Reports, and other related reports as deemed necessary by management.
  • Evaluate and prepare costing for the additional works and seek approval for implementation.
  • Proper management of budget and materials, including request and distribution.
  • Provide immediate technical solutions to minor issues and seek immediate assistance for major ones.
  • Predicts problems or risks on-site with the equipment and machines assigned to the project and develops plans to avoid or mitigate them. - Conduct site measurements using a laser device.
  • Attend trainings in order to upgrade skills.
  • Manage time properly to be able to finish jobs in the specified deadlines.
  • Willing to render overtime work, especially when job calls for it.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience*:

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering or Architecture (with or without license)
  • At least 2-3 years continuous related working experience in a previous job.
  • Organize, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Keen senses on possible problems on site
  • Knowledge with tile and solid surfaces installation, its maintenance, and repairs
  • Knowledge in fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal works (stainless steel railings, kitchen equipment, furniture, etc.)
  • Knowledge in electrical works
  • Fast learner and knows how to follow instructions and orders faithfully
  • Willing to learn using new tools and equipment
  • Willing to report in San Fernando, La Union (Main Office) and work in Metro Manila (job site)

Required Certifications or Special Skills*:

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering or Architecture (with or without license)
  • Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD
  • Preferably with COSH or BOSH Certificate
