Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time Site Engineer to join our team and support ongoing solar projects across various stages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pre-installation site inspection and on-site supervision during installations, minor troubleshooting after deployment, and conducting post-installation inspections to ensure the quality, safety, and performance of our solar systems. This role is critical in ensuring smooth and successful project execution and long-term system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise installation teams on-site to ensure proper solar PV system installation from start to finish.
  • Conduct quality checks, verify technical compliance, and address installation issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting on installed systems (e.g., inverter startup issues, communication problems, grounding, etc.).
  • Conduct post-installation ocular inspections and assist in preparing technical reports or site documentation.
  • Support the service team in maintenance calls and warranty checks when needed.
  • Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to timelines.
  • Uphold safety protocols and compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of work experience.
  • 2 years of experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, or service work is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of AC/DC systems, inverters, grounding, and electrical safety practices.
  • Familiarity with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
  • TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent certification a plus.
  • PRC License is a strong advantage but not mandatory.

Requirements

  • Willing to travel regularly for projects across Luzon, particularly in the Pampanga and neighboring areas.
  • Can work independently, professionally, and communicate effectively.
