Job description

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services in accordance with company policies and operational requirements. This role plays a key part in managing supplier relationships, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate vendors for quality, price, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best value.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support business operations.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery and accuracy of shipments.
  • Resolve issues related to quality, delivery delays, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to align purchasing activities with business needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
  • Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and industry developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Can start ASAP

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
