HR AND PAYROLL ASSOCIATE
JOB SUMMARY:
The HR and Payroll Associate will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations while ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll. You will work closely with department heads and operations teams to maintain employee records, assist in recruitment, and ensure that all government-mandated contributions and labor policies are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Maintain and update employee 201 files (physical and digital)
- Monitor attendance, leaves, and tardiness using timekeeping tools
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Coordinate with supervisors for contract signing, renewals, and disciplinary documentation
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with company standards and labor laws
- Facilitate government-mandated benefits (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth) enrollment and updates
Payroll:
- Process bi-monthly/monthly payroll with accuracy and confidentiality
- Compute government contributions and deductions
- Prepare and release payslips
- Monitor and apply deductions (SSS loans, Pag-IBIG loans, tardiness, absences, etc.)
- Assist in preparing reports needed for accounting or audit
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related course
- At least 1 year of experience in payroll or HR support (fresh grads with strong internship experience are welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Trustworthy, organized, and discreet with sensitive data
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Familiar with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated contributions
- Experience in using HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage
Monthly Salary: Starting at ₱17,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Fridat (Rest day every Saturday and Sunday)
Work Location: 787 M. L. Quezon Ave, Mandaue City, 6014 Cebu
Timings: 8PM - 5AM (graveyard shift)
With SSS, Pag-ibig, and PhilHealth
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From Php17,000.00 per month
