CONTROL & DISPATCH OFFICER

A. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. CCTV Monitoring & Incident Response

  2. Monitors CCTV and security dashboards at all times.

  3. Identifies and reports suspicious or unsafe activity.

  4. Alerts the Safety & Security Manager or on-duty SSA for on-ground response.

  5. Ensures clear and professional radio communication.

  6. Data Privacy & CCTV Data Handling

  7. Ensures CCTV monitoring complies with the Data Privacy Act, NPC Advisory , and NPC Circular

  8. Secures the CCTV room and restricts access to authorized personnel only.

  9. Handles and releases CCTV footage only with documented approval from a duly authorized company official.

  10. Maintains confidentiality and observes proper chain of custody.

  11. Incident Logging & Reporting

  12. Logs system events, incidents, alarms, and footage access.

  13. Prepares incident reports based on CCTV observations.

  14. Ensures filing, retention, and disposal of CCTV records follow DPA and NPC requirements.

  15. Coordination & Dispatch

  16. Dispatches Safety & Security Associates and relevant personnel during incidents.

  17. Coordinates with ERT, and with external responders or authorities when instructed by the Safety & Security Manager or a duly authorized company official.

  18. Systems Management

  19. Performs routine checks on CCTV system functionality.

  20. Reports camera issues, blind spots, or downtime to Engineering / Management Information System and the Safety & Security Manager.

B. QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Graduate of any 4-year course. (Criminology, Information Technology, Security Management, or related field is an advantage)

  2. With experience in CCTV monitoring, control room operations, radio dispatching, or security operations (preferred, but not required).

  3. With a valid License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP) issued by SOSIA is an advantage (Security Guard LESP or Security Officer LESP).

  4. Computer literate (MS Office, email etiquette, report writing) and familiar with basic video file handling. (e.g., downloading CCTV clips, converting video formats, transferring or archiving files)

  5. Can communicate clearly and professionally (verbal and written).

  6. Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and critical thinking.

  7. High level of confidentiality and integrity; willing to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

  8. Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.

  9. Preferably trained in or is willing to undergo training on:

  10. Basic First Aid / BLS

  11. CCTV Operator Certification

  12. Basic Radio Communication (having an NTC–issued radio operator/handler permit is an advantage)
