Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits issued by environmental agencies (e.g., DENR in the Philippines or EPA in the U.S.).
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on pollution control, waste management, water and air quality, and other environmental parameters to relevant authorities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Pollution Control Programs including air, water, noise, and waste pollution control systems.
  • Oversee proper waste segregation, treatment, storage, and disposal procedures in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular internal environmental audits and participate in inspections by regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Respond promptly to pollution-related incidents, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date environmental documentation including permits, manifests, and monitoring records.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, third-party laboratories, and accredited waste service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Accredited or licensed as a Pollution Control Officer by the relevant environmental regulatory agency (DENR EMB Philippines).
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international environmental regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and environmental reporting systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
