The Logistics Control Center Coordinator serves as the command center of all logistics operations. This position is responsible for daily monitoring of deliveries, tracking truck movements, coordinating with drivers, validating dispatch documents, checking employee overtime, and preparing accurate reports directly for the Logistics Manager.

The role coordinates with the Logistics Supervisor only when operational issues require immediate action.

Key Responsibilities:1. Daily Dispatch Monitoring & Control

  • Monitor all delivery schedules and truck assignments daily.
  • Ensure that all trucks depart on time based on the delivery plan.
  • Validate loading accuracy and completeness before dispatch.
  • Provide real-time updates directly to the Manager.

2. Real-Time Tracking & Command Center Operations

  • Track truck movements from loading, departure, arrival, delivery, and return.
  • Communicate with drivers and helpers for instructions, updates, and concerns.
  • Act as the central command center for all logistics operations.
  • Immediately report any delays, breakdowns, or route-related issues.

3. Issue Escalation & Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Logistics Supervisor only for concerns that need immediate operational action.
  • Escalate issues early to avoid delays or disruption in logistics flow.
  • Follow up and ensure issues are resolved before final reporting.

4. Documentation, Reporting & Overtime Monitoring

  • Check and validate trip tickets, delivery receipts, and other dispatch documents.
  • Record departure time, travel time, arrival time, and completion.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports for the Manager.
  • Maintain a command center incident logbook for delays and operational concerns.
  • Check and verify daily overtime of logistics personnel (drivers, helpers, dispatchers, etc.) based on actual work hours, dispatch logs, and completion time.
  • Submit accurate overtime reports to the Logistics Manager for review and approval.

5. Coordination with Warehouse & Other Departments

  • Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding loading readiness and stock availability.
  • Communicate with Sales or customers for delivery confirmation or schedule updates when required.
  • Support planning and organizing of proper delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in dispatching, logistics monitoring, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and report preparation.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
