
Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships and expanding the company's portfolio—particularly in the finance, collections and banking sectors.
This role focuses on lead generation, client relationship management and assisting in the acquisition of new portfolios. The Business Development Manager works closely with the CEO and management team, ensuring that business targets are met, and the company's strategic growth objectives are achieved.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Development & Networking
· Identify and generate new business opportunities by leveraging an extensive network of industry contacts.
· Actively pursue and develop relationships with potential clients, partners and stakeholders to expand the company's portfolio.
· Create and manage strategies for portfolio purchasing and business growth, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
· Negotiate high-value contracts and close deals to meet or exceed business targets and company goals.
· Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to promote services and address client needs.
Strategic Planning & Performance Management
· Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue goals and market expansion targets.
· Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities and client needs to inform business decisions and optimize growth strategies.
· Monitor performance metrics to assess business development success and implement improvements as necessary.
· Collaborate with management to refine and adjust business strategies to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement
- Track and report on key business development metrics and contribute to forecasting and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and business objectives.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and support initiatives that drive efficiency and growth.
Networking & Representation
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements as required.
- Contribute to the company's brand presence and reputation in the finance and lending sectors.
