Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: Php 55,000+

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Full-time, flexible schedule aligned with US Eastern Time

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Perform daily transaction categorization and data entry in QuickBooks
  • Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for multiple client accounts
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records following GAAP standards
  • Work within Canopy software for client management and documentation
  • Communicate regularly with US-based team on account status and project updates
  • Handle a growing client portfolio as the business expands
  • Participate in team meetings and company culture initiatives
  • Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with legal and accounting teams on integrated client solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping for US-based companies using GAAP accounting principles
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and general accounting software
  • Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end processes
  • Excellent English communication skills with emphasis on direct, honest reporting
  • Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
  • Bonus: Experience with Canopy software or similar client management platforms
  • Comfortable working US business hours or flexible scheduling arrangements
