We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounting Associate (WFH) for our StartUp accounting BPO company in Manila. Your primary responsibility will be financial accounting/reporting for our Swiss SME clients.

In order to achieve quality work, you will undergo extensive training in Swiss accounting and tax laws.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  1. Bookkeeping: invoices, bills, receipts
  2. Bank and credit card reconciliations
  3. Computation of prepaid/accrued expenses and accrued/deferred income
  4. Computation of depreciation and/or amortization expenses
  5. Posting of adjusting journal entries
  6. Assistance in the preparation of financial statements with supporting schedules
  7. Assistance in VAT and income tax computations
  8. Other general accounting duties
  9. Directly reporting to the Accounting Supervisor

ABOUT YOU

  1. Bachelors degree holder in accountancy (BSA)
  2. CPA certification (or other similar certifications) is good to have, but not required
  3. Have a sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS and/or US GAAP)
  4. Experience in accounting software and tools, such as QBO, Xero, MS Excel, MS Outlook etc.
  5. Team player and can work with minimal supervision
  6. Willing to work from 9AM to 6PM, Monday-Friday
  7. Willing to work from home temporarily, but must be residing in Metro Manila (or in a nearby province) once onsite work starts
  8. With internet subscription of 15mbps or more
