WFH - Bookkeeper - Quickbooks Online

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to support our team with bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining records, vendor coordination, and other basic accounting tasks. This role involves managing Excel sheets, tracking data, and generating reports. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with clients via phone and email and collaborating with other departments to facilitate solutions.
Job Highlights
Monthly Rate: Php 90,000+
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM | Florida (ET)
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Pay invoices through the company's platform via credit cards or checks (training provided)
- Work with pivot tables and perform functions such as XLOOKUPs
- Communicate effectively with other teams and members
- Coordinate with departments and vendors as needed
- Assist in various accounting areas such as Revenue, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and send reports as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks Online experience is required
- Experience with preferred but not mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proven experience working exclusively during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST/EDT) hours
- Preferably has experience working for a medium-sized or growing company
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Analytical thinker — able to assess information and determine bill payments appropriately
- Self-starter with good time management skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools
- Windows 11 OS required for laptop/desktop
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated decision-making ability based on provided data
