Bookkeeper – Canadian Payroll and Accounts

We are looking for an Accounting/Bookkeeping Assistant to handle payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting for a Canadian service company. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions in Xero or similar software
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and process payroll for employees and contractors
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reports
  • Maintain financial documentation and organized filing systems
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian tax and payroll laws

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent English communication skills

Must-Haves

  • Canadian payroll knowledge
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work full-time on MST hours

Nice-to-Haves

  • Service industry accounting background
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php55, Php60,000.00 per month
