Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Business Development Officer
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
- Strategy and Program Creation
- Initiates and develops FSPL sales strategies (distribution, promotions, pricing, TTA and merchandising), plans and tactics of Food Service based on the Annual Company Business Plan, Annual Customer Business Plan, as well as FSPL Plans.
- Regularly reviews FSPL Sales performance, internal, external data and research and recommends appropriate intervention to address opportunities identified.
- New Product Launch and Management
- Assist the SOBDM in leading the collaborative development and assessment of the NPD and Key Innovations together with GIC and FSPL Sales.
- Review and confirm projected volumes in partnership with FSPL Sales Team
- Leads in the NPI Evaluation at specified periods
- Inventory Management
- Ensures equitable distribution of critical SKUs prioritizing key customers
- Reviews and submits for approval, recommended move out plans for aging stocks in warehouse
- Category Champion
- Co-Maintains the collective view of the Food Service across channels
- Assist the SOBDM as the knowledge center of Food Service especially during trade engagements
- Engages in research, studies to constantly improve customer and consumer understanding in Food Service
- Financial Management
- Performs basic PNL and basic price simulations for new products and other initiatives
- Channel Plans
- Closely coordinates with the FSPL Sales Team and SOPOs in ensuring that the Food Service plans are seamlessly transitioned into the right channels
- Marketing Intelligence
- Food Service performance per customer/channel
- Price movements
- Competitor activities
- Trends
What are the Qualifications?
- Graduate of Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent
- 2-3 years of work-related experience
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Willing to work on a hybrid work set-up. Willing to be assigned to travel for a couple of weeks max
- Above average skills in MS Office, Teams, & AI Platforms.
- Has Driver's License and must pass URC Driver Authorization, capable to drive both manual and automatic vehicle
- Has sense of urgency.
- Shares a culture of Accountability.
