DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Reports directly to QSD Insurance Supervisor
  • Coordinates directly with each specific Brokers, Insurers and CMD Teams for all matters pertaining to insurance and bonds concerns ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken accordingly
  • Coordinate with CMD Teams regarding any appropriate action necessary pertaining to any insurance of bond related concerns per project and pursues necessary appropriate required action/s from concerned parties;
  • Coordinates and solicits complete and accurate project information from CMD Teams regarding document submissions, submission schedules, pending compliances, etc.
  • Assists the QSD Insurance Supervisor in collating appropriate documents to support claims and in coordinating with QSD Assistant Managers re updates on CARI and BONDS status and the appropriate details on the documents provided by respective CMD Teams
  • Recommends applicable strategies and control measures to ensure that each claim is properly placed and strongly positioned to ensure success
  • Reviews and monitors completeness and appropriateness of documents from CMD required for submission to Brokers and Insurers
  • Prepares QSD-generated accurate and updated weekly and monthly monitoring reports for presentation to the Management
  • Recommends strategies to continuously improve on the CARI and Bond Claimsprocessing
  • Keeps an organized softcopy and hardcopy files relative to QSD tasks and projects handled
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities, including project site visits as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A graduate of Architecture or any Engineering course
  • With three (3) years and below working in construction operations; related insurance exposure and familiarity to insurance matters (non-life) highly preferred
  • With above average analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Must be resourceful, proactive and team player
  • Willing to do research work, sequential and progressive thinker
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Skilled in handling and understanding documents
  • Computer and estimating software literate
