About the role
The Business Development Manager will play both a strategic and hands-on role in driving growth across the Philippines. This position will focus on expanding market presence, developing strong relationships with healthcare institutions, and promoting prosthetic, orthotic, and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate brings together a clinical background (e.g., Physical Therapist, Rehabilitation Therapist, or equivalent) with strong business acumen and sales expertise. Prior experience managing a patient care facility or working as a Business Development Manager in a healthcare company is highly desirable.
What you will do:
Business Development & Nationwide Sales
- Identify key business areas and grow the existing client base
- Pursue and secure new business opportunities and partnerships nationwide
- Build and manage long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics, and institutional partners
- Arrange meetings and coordinate product demos with potential end users and stakeholders
- Promote prosthetic, orthotic, and rehabilitation offerings, highlighting their differentiating features
- Establish and achieve revenue targets and KPIs for assigned product portfolios and patient care services
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities
- Provide customers and patients with timely product updates and service enhancements
- Collaborate closely with internal Sales Operations to ensure smooth execution
Clinical Expertise & Stakeholder Engagement
- Leverage clinical knowledge to effectively communicate product and patient benefits
- Collaborate with clinicians, orthotists/prosthetists, and rehabilitation professionals
- Support education initiatives through training sessions, product presentations, and technical workshops
- Build networks with orthopedic surgeons, rehab physicians, general practitioners, and allied health professionals
- Represent the company at conferences, industry events (e.g., ISPO), and trade fairs
Who you are:
- Licensed Physical Therapist, Rehabilitation Therapist, or allied health professional (past or present)
- 3–5 years of clinical experience, with exposure to sales, marketing, or business development preferred
- Knowledgeable in prosthetic, orthotic, and rehabilitation care solutions
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Self-driven and strategic thinker with the ability to lead growth initiatives
- Willing to travel nationwide for client and institutional engagements
- Experience with PhilHealth Z-Morph programs or similar public healthcare initiatives is an advantage
- Familiarity with public bidding processes and hospital procurement systems
- Comfortable working across both clinical and corporate settings
