JOB SUMMARY

The HR Officer is responsible for handling end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records. This role also supports general HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, and policy implementation. In addition, the HR Officer oversees administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll Processing

  • Prepare, compute, and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Ensure proper computation of government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and taxes (BIR).
  • Manage payroll adjustments such as overtime, leave without pay, allowances, deductions, and incentives.
  • Generate and submit required government reports (Alphalist, 13th Month Pay, etc.).
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data and employee compensation.

General HR

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process (sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, job offers).
  • Maintain and update 201 files and employee database.
  • Assist in performance appraisal administration and monitoring of probationary evaluations.
  • Support employee engagement programs and company events.
  • Handle employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Administration

  • Oversee office supplies inventory and coordinate purchasing as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with office safety, cleanliness, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (service providers, government agencies).
  • Assist in organizing company meetings, training sessions, and other activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years as HR Officer with strong background in payroll processing.
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine Labor Laws and government compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
