Job Summary:
The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in all HR-related functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, records management, training coordination, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work confidentially and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Prepare employment contracts, onboarding materials, and ensure smooth orientation for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records in both digital and physical formats.
- Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and legal requirements.
- Help coordinate training and development initiatives.
- Address basic employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and other concerns.
- Monitor employee attendance and leave records and ensure accuracy.
- Participate in disciplinary and grievance procedures, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Stay up-to-date on labor laws and HR best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an HR-related role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HR software experience is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
