Job Summary:

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, supporting bid preparation, and working with internal technical teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients in the power plant construction sector (utilities, independent power producers, EPC contractors, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain a pipeline of opportunities; follow up leads and convert to proposals.
  • Liaise with technical / engineering / procurement teams to develop technically feasible and cost‐competitive proposals.
  • Prepare bid documents, quotations, RFQs, RFP responses, ensuring compliance with technical specs and commercial terms.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events to expand network.
  • Assist in negotiation of contracts and support commercial and financial discussions.
  • Monitor market trends (e.g. changes in regulatory / permitting environment, competition, technology) and provide inputs for strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree graduate with 2–5 years relevant experience in business development, sales, or marketing in electrical / power plant / industrial sectors.
  • Strong proposal writing, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites / client locations.
  • Self‐motivated, result‐oriented, good interpersonal skills.
