Japan Home Centre is looking for an Business Development Officer

Job Description:

  • Develop growth plans and expansion roadmaps, and review the profitability of existing stores with current lessors.
  • Identify and pursue new store locations nationwide that align with the company's expansion plans and target market.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with lessors.
  • Conduct large-scale negotiations of rental rates with lessors and shopping malls to ensure a healthy rental-to-sales ratio and maintain store profitability.
  • Safe keep and maintain records and documents such as contracts, agreements, and other assets under the department's responsibility.
  • Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor presence, and consumer preferences, especially in potential expansion areas.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Experience in leasing is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker.
  • Willing to travel and meet with partners.
  • Target-driven and goal-oriented.
  • Can start immediately.
