Duties and Responsibilities

1. Production & Preparation

  • Prepare and produce a wide variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, tarts, and other sweet baked goods in line with company recipes and quality standards.
  • Accurately measure, mix, and bake ingredients following established procedures and portion sizes.
  • Assist in decorating, glazing, filling, and garnishing pastries to ensure consistency and presentation.
  • Ensure timely preparation of pastry items required for daily operations and special events.

2. Quality & Presentation

  • Maintain the highest standards in taste, texture, and visual presentation of all pastry products.
  • Check product quality throughout the preparation and baking process.
  • Ensure products are displayed attractively and replenished as needed.

3. Food Safety & Sanitation

  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, equipment, and tools.
  • Properly store ingredients and finished products with correct labeling and rotation (FIFO method).

4. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Assist in monitoring stock levels of pastry ingredients and supplies.
  • Report shortages, damages, or expired items to the supervisor promptly.
  • Practice cost-conscious production by minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of ingredients.

5. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with bakers, chefs, and kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules.
  • Support fellow team members during peak hours and large orders.
  • Follow instructions from Pastry Chef and contribute positively to a team environment.

6. Operational Support

  • Assist in packaging and labeling pastry products for retail or takeout orders.
  • Provide support for events, and special promotions when required.
  • Ensure all pastry items are prepared on time and according to operational needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php510.00 per day
