About the role

Join the culinary team at Seda Atria' as a Pastry Chef, where you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delectable pastries, desserts and baked goods to delight our guests. This is a full-time position based in Iloilo City, Iloilo, and will involve working within our well-equipped kitchen facilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Plan, prepare and oversee the production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads and other baked items
  • Ensure all pastries and desserts meet the highest standards of quality, presentation and taste
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to develop new and innovative dessert and pastry menu items
  • Manage and train junior pastry staff to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to support production
  • Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked pastry kitchen
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant or high-volume catering environment
  • Formal training or qualification in culinary arts, with a specialisation in pastry
  • Excellent technical skills in a wide range of pastry and dessert preparation techniques
  • Creative flair and an eye for presentation to design visually appealing pastries and desserts
  • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities to work efficiently under pressure
  • Willingness to be a team player and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen operation
  • Passionate about using high-quality, fresh ingredients to create exceptional pastries and desserts
