Kresko ) is a U.S.-based financial services firm that provides CFO advisory, accounting, and financial planning services to small and mid-sized businesses. We are growing quickly and need an experienced freelance recruiter to help us scale our team with top talent from Asia and South America.

Role Overview

We are seeking a process-oriented HR freelancer who can design and execute a recruitment workflow that optimizes time-to-hire and candidate quality. This role focuses on filling positions such as Bookkeepers, Accountants, and Financial Analysts.

Success will depend on your ability to identify the best job boards, leverage AI and enabling tools, and build a pipeline of highly qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Kresko leadership to align on hiring priorities.
  • Develop an efficient and repeatable recruitment workflow.
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and local channels in Asia/South America.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess technical/communication skills.
  • Provide structured candidate shortlists with clear recommendations.
  • Support offer negotiation and onboarding as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience recruiting for accounting and finance roles.
  • Strong sourcing experience in Asia and/or South America.
  • Process-driven mindset with a track record of workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Upwork, and regional job boards.
  • Experience with AI or assessment tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Independent, self-directed, and responsive.

Contract Details

  • Freelance / Project-based, with potential for ongoing work.
  • Remote, flexible schedule.
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience (hourly or project).
