About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Recruitment Specialist to manage the recruitment life cycle specifically for niche technical and specialized roles such as, but not limited to Accounting, Finance and Legal sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, screening, and securing top technical talent, along with a strong understanding of technical skills and qualifications. You will play a critical role in delivering a smooth candidate experience, ensuring a successful transition from candidate to employee.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Recruitment:

  • Sourcing & Outreach: Use advanced sourcing techniques, including boolean search, job boards, LinkedIn, and other platforms to proactively reach out to potential candidates, building pipelines for current and future technical roles.
  • Technical Screening: Review resumes and conduct initial screenings, focusing on technical expertise and alignment with client needs; assess relevant technical competencies and certifications.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule technical interviews with hiring managers, ensuring clear communication on the role's requirements and a streamlined process for candidates.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Work closely with hiring managers to understand the technical skill requirements for each role, coordinating candidate evaluations and providing insights based on screenings and assessments.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized candidate pipeline, tracking engagement and follow-ups, ensuring efficient movement through the recruitment stages.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track recruitment metrics specific to technical hiring (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate quality, diversity), and provide reports to drive strategic improvements.

Onboarding Support:

  • Document Management: Oversee the collection and organization of required paperwork, ensuring completion and accuracy of contracts, NDAs, and technical access agreements.
  • Technical Onboarding: Coordinate with IT and HR teams to ensure that new hires have the necessary technical setup, including software licenses, development environments, and system logins.
  • Onboarding Experience: Provide a smooth and positive onboarding experience, guiding new hires through initial setup, introduction to team members, and access to necessary tools and resources.
  • Follow-Up & Support: Conduct regular check-ins during the first few months to ensure new hires are integrating well, addressing any technical or cultural challenges.

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Vendor Communication: Engage with external recruitment partners for additional sourcing needs, updating them on role specifications and timelines, and reviewing candidate quality.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise with HR, IT, and Customer Success teams to ensure new hires are set up for success from Day 1.

Administrative and Process Optimization:

  • Applicant Tracking & Record Management: Keep detailed records of candidate progress in the ATS, ensuring compliance and an organized repository of applicant information.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure that all recruitment and onboarding documents are up-to-date and adhere to compliance standards, including offer letters and role-specific documents.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess recruitment and onboarding processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background and experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience in technical recruiting.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of technical recruitment background specializing in IT, Accounting, Finance & Engineering in a BPO setting or staff augmentation space. Experience in start-up environment would be a big plus.
  • Technical Acumen: Knowledgeable on different technical skills, certifications requirements and technology stocks that are generally used in each specific role.
  • Systems & Tools: Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Recruitment platforms and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean Search) for identifying technical talents.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled in tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Startup/Pioneering Experience: Experience in a startup or pioneering environment is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • High-Volume & Specialized Recruitment: Experience in balancing high-volume hiring needs with targeted searches for niche technical roles.
  • Onboarding Best Practices: Knowledge of onboarding best practices, especially for remote technical roles, including system setups and engagement strategies.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with employment law and HR compliance, particularly as it relates to international hiring and data privacy.
