The Human Resource Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the administration, coordination, and implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures. This role supervises HR staff, ensures compliance with company standards and government regulations, and supports management in achieving organizational goals through effective people management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Organizational Set-Up & Implementation

  • Assist in designing and aligning organizational structures to meet business needs and goals.
  • Support the implementation of HR plans and ensure compliance with company standards and government requirements.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations to ensure smooth workflow within the department.

Policies & Procedures

  • Supervise the implementation and monitoring of HR policies and procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to existing policies to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Operations Manual

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the business unit.

Training & Development

  • Facilitate and coordinate employee training sessions based on the approved training calendar and operations manual.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Compliance

  • Ensure company compliance with labor laws, health, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with government agencies (e.g., DOLE) for labor-related requirements and concerns.

Staff Management & Supervision

  • Supervise HR staff and monitor performance to achieve departmental goals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of subordinates and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Support employee relations initiatives and help address workplace concerns.
