Job Overview

The Human Resources Supervisor provides HR services to support the achievement of the company's objectives. Provides HR administration and services to the organization to all levels as well as provide support and coaching for employees to effectively align the company's business process. Supports the HR Manager in ensuring functions and tasks are being carried out by the team.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  • Enhances the organization's human resources by implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Maintains the work structure by assisting in updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by assisting in conducting orientation and recommending training programs based on training needs.
  • Ensures monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by guiding the immediate heads to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Educates employees of company benefits and monitors benefits-related transactions.
  • Ensures that employees are accustomed to the payroll and HR system and ensures the timely submission of timekeeping-related transactions.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable labor law requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
  • Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
  • Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Advances human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate of AB / BS Psychology or Human Resource Management
  • 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible Human Resources roles
