Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and supporting customer needs within assigned accounts or territories for medical devices. This role involves product promotion, relationship management, and ensuring customer satisfaction through expert-level product knowledge and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, generate, and qualify leads through field visits, industry events, referrals, and other sales activities.
• Schedule and conduct sales calls, product presentations, and demos to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
• Promote and explain the features, benefits, and clinical value of medical devices to both new and existing customers.
• Conduct cost-benefit and needs analysis to recommend appropriate solutions tailored to clinical environments.
• Close sales using strong product knowledge, consultative selling, and customer relationship skills.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions.
• Serve as a key point of contact for post-sale support, product inquiries, and basic technical troubleshooting.
• Address and escalate customer concerns to ensure timely resolution and maintain satisfaction.
• Keep detailed records of sales activities, client communications, and opportunity status using CRM tools.
• Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the immediate manager.
• Achieve or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product improvements.
• Stay informed on competitor products, industry trends, and regulatory updates relevant to medical devices.
• Participate in product training, clinical workshops, and trade shows as needed.
