Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, cash receipts, cash disbursement, compliance and other general accounting task of all entities under Filsyn Group.
  • Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting processes such as for cash receipts, disbursements, compliance and financial report of all entities under the Filsyn Group.
  • Oversees the recording of transactions in QuickBooks Accounting System and ensures all transaction are timely recorded.
  • Oversees the preparation of periodic financial reports of the Parent Company especially on a quarterly and annual basis and ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards as required by government authorities.
  • Oversees the preparation of financial statements of all entities under Filsyn Group for external audit.
  • Coordinates with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit of all entities under the Filsyn Group.
  • Ensures compliance with local and state government requirements such as with the City Government Office, SEC, BIR, PSE, etc. for all entities under Filsyn Group.
  • Evaluates the annual performance of all accounting staffs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience is generally required, with a portion of that experience ideally in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience in managing teams, overseeing processes, and leading projects is crucial.
  • A through understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory standards, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), is a must.
  • Experience with preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, is expected.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Accounting System is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP System is a plus.
