The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and managing the accounting team. This role involves supervising daily accounting activities, preparing financial statements, implementing internal controls, and supporting management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounting functions.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with management.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure financial stability.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation for accounting staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in accounting operations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
