About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Staff to join our team at Edisons Group of Companies Inc. in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services to support the company's operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing requirements and source appropriate suppliers
  • Negotiating contracts and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to secure the best possible terms
  • Placing and tracking orders, monitoring delivery timelines and following up on any issues
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that stock levels meet production demands
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the purchasing function
  • Providing reporting and analysis to the management team on purchasing activities and performance

What we're looking for

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the trade and sales, manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuously improving processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php15,000.00 per month
