
Business Development Officer

Job Summary
The Business Development Specialist will support the telco company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing and analyzing price traffic (lead flow related to pricing offers), and preparing clear and effective memos and communications to internal stakeholders. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to optimize pricing strategies and promote market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and research potential business opportunities within the telecommunications market.
- Develop strategic plans to acquire new clients and expand business with existing customers.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to position and promote products effectively.
Price Traffic Management
- Monitor and manage price traffic by evaluating incoming leads and inquiries related to pricing offers.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimize promotional pricing campaigns and maximize conversion.
- Analyze pricing data and customer feedback to recommend adjustments for competitive positioning.
Memo Creation and Internal Communication
- Draft, format, and distribute clear and concise memos related to business development, pricing updates, and market intelligence.
- Ensure memos effectively communicate strategic initiatives, updates, and operational instructions to relevant departments.
- Maintain an organized repository of internal communications for reference and audit purposes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with finance to align pricing strategies with financial goals and profitability.
- Coordinate with product teams to understand service offerings and translate them into business development campaigns.
- Support sales teams with pricing strategies and customer negotiation aids.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on price traffic trends, business development progress, and competitive analysis.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership for decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, pricing analysis, or sales support, preferably in the telco sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing and market data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in drafting professional memos and reports.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a fast-paced environment.
